I was inspired by Vincet van Gogh’s Sunflowers and wanted to create my own version of it. Using bolder colors and texture, I wanted this piece to stand out and catch your attention.

One of my favorite things to see in Big Bend National Park is the dark skies. After the sun goes down, you are in for a treat as the stars dance across the sky. You are able to see the milky way during the night throughout certain parts of the year. I wanted to capture it dancing across the sky in with the Chisos Mountains.

One of my favorite things to watch in Big Bend National Park is the storms that dance around the desert floor. I wanted to show a storm dancing behind the Chisos Mountains. Allowing the colors to grab your attention and bring you in for a closer look.

Big Bend National Park holds a beauty you cannot understand until you experience it. The sun sets and sun rises capture your attention as the colors dance in the sky. I wanted to capture this particular morning as I was sitting in my favorite spot in the park. I remember how peaceful that particular morning was as the sun slowly came up behind the mountains. It was a cool morning, and the fog was dancing along the river.

Dragons bring up fantasy and magic when we think of them. I wanted to capture that magic on canvas when I painted him. I used metallic paints to help give it that pop and make him come alive.

On one of my many adventures, I was in South Dakota and came across this Four Mile Old West Town. It was right outside of Custer, SD and It was set up to show how things were back then. I came across a few areas that captured my attention and then paint them. This is one of them. I love how everything was set up and the colors made things come together.

I wanted to create a piece that captured the beauty of flowers and the elegance of the horse. Showing off the strength and beauty of each element. The colors grab your attention and make things come together.

The dogwood flower is beautiful together and by itself. I wanted to capture its beauty in this painting and show off its details. I used metallic paint to give it some pop and elegance.

Sometimes you get those unannounced pictures that come through and surprise you. I thought it would be funny to paint them in a unique and colorful way.

This piece was Created for my book, Take the Leap . . . Your Dreams are Waiting. This spot was a turning point in my life as on one of my hikes I had to jump off the side of the mountain at night. If you would like to know more about that hike, I suggest reading my book.

This piece was inspired from a couple I came across at a Day of the Dead Festival in Terlingua, TX. I love how they were dressed and how everything came together.

This piece is special to me because when I was out hiking one time, I miscalculated the miles on a hike and ended up hiking in the dark. I ended up hiking up on a mountain lion and was able to get away. I titled this piece Lucky because I was able to get away.

This piece was created to bring awareness to mental health. I wanted to show how water is powerful and can be healing. Showing how water can wash away darkness and allow you to shine.
